Ride for a Child began as a group of cycling friends who believed sport could be a force for good. What started as a fun challenge soon grew into a shared commitment to use endurance sport to create real opportunity for others.

Today, R4C is a registered Non-Profit Company dedicated to making a tangible difference. We use the platform of elite endurance events like the Cape Epic to fund the future of South Africa's most promising young minds.

To amplify our impact, R4C proudly partners with Bright Start Education Foundation, a non-profit based in Hout Bay. We chose Bright Start because their model is holistic—they don't just pay school fees; they remove the social and economic barriers that prevent children from thriving.
